The MVF Mountain Entrepreneur Competition

The MVF Mountain Entrepreneur Competition is an initiative of Mountain Village Foundation, an Uttarakhand-based NGO that aims to support the entrepreneurial development of school children and youth. 

A business idea or a social change idea can have the power to change lives. MVF brings to the talented children of the Himalayan region the MVF Mountain Entrepreneur Competition to showcase their entrepreneurial zeal. Participants will share sustainable entrepreneurial ideas(business or social) that can positively impact the Himalayan region (environmental, educational, etc). Sign up to join the MVF Mountain Entrepreneur Network today. Learn, grow and feel inspired by other budding mountain entrepreneurs and participate in the MVF Mountain Entrepreneur Competition.

To participate in the competition, schools have to first sign up their students.(Grade 5-9)  

After signing up, the students will have a short call with our team to prepare their business idea/social change idea. The idea should support the needs of the Himalayan region (environmental, educational, etc).  After the call, students submit their entrepreneurial idea in the MVF Mountain Entrepreneur online application form.

Our team will review the applications and announce three winners.

1st Prize: INR 5000/-

2nd Prize: INR 3000/-

3rd Prize: INR 2000/-

All students will join the MVF Mountain Entrepreneur Network that will be a space for ongoing learning, mentorship opportunities, project development support opportunities and spaces for learning and growth from each other.

Note: This program is for students in Grades 5 -9 who study in the Himalayan region (Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, North-East Indian States, Ladakh & J&K). The last day to apply is 30th November 2024.
